Since the establishment of the University of the holy Qur’an and Taseel of Sciences in the year 1414 AH corresponding to 1993-1994 AD has been providing the community with qualified scientific cadres for nearly two decades. In the light of the great development witnessed by the world and the growing importance of computer information technology in spreading the Islamic (da’wa’); call, the idea came to establish a college for computer and information technology at the university to keep pace with developments in the field.
The college was established in the city of Rowffa, east of Gezira state (a local capital east of Gezira) in the academic year 1434 AH corresponding to 2013 AD .This faculty is characterized by teaching computer science, information technology and legal sciences and its role in spreading the Islamic (da’wa’); call to the world. Dr. Muhammad al-Tayyib Muhammad Ali, was assigned as dean of the college during the construction period in the year 2013 AD until it became an educational edifice.
